Chesapeake Whalertowne, formerly Baltimore Chris Craft Sales Inc., is a 3rd generation owned and operated business.

Beginning is 1939 on St. Paul's Street in Baltimore City under the name of "Chris Craft Sales/Service" operated by the Kammerer Family. In 1965, the business moved to Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park and was operated by Joe & Dottie Boulay. Baltimore Chris Craft Sales Inc. dealt primarily with Chris Craft Boats, Duo Boats and was the Chris Craft Parts Distributor for five states. The dealership took on Boston Whaler Boats in 1973. Dottie operated "Dottie's Duffle Bag" at the Brooklyn Park location. They retired in 1982 to the "sunshine state" of Florida.

In 1982, their youngest son, Rick took over the operations of the business and became an exclusive Boston Whaler Dealer. In 1994, the dealership opened an Annapolis location where longtime friend and classmate, Bart Hiltabidle is currently the Sales Manager at that location. In August of 2006 Rick Roulay Jr. was added to our sales team, eldest son of Rick and Laura Boulay.

In 2000 the business changed its' name to Chesapeake Whalertowne. This dealership offers our customers personalized and professional service thus ensuring that your purchase of a Boston Whaler is the best experience and decision you will choose to make!

In May of 2005, Chesapeake Whalertowne, closed its doors in Brooklyn Park and moved to Grasonville on Maryland's Eastern Shore creating a "premier dealership". This facility offers the full Boston Whaler boat line, parts and accessories for Boston Whaler, Mercury and Yamaha Outboards. Our expansive showroom enables perspective captains/ first mates to preview selected models and accesssories associated with Boston Whaler, Mercury and Yamaha Outboards, boating supplies and apparrel. Our "yard" offers an open venue where you are able to board any of our product line at your leisure.

In August of 2005 our dealership was awarded the elite status of "Master Dealer". We have worked very hard to attain this level of customer satisfaction and thank all of our customers for allowing us to service you in your complete purchasing experience.
